Joo Pedro Cavaco (Portuguese pronunciation: born 27 May 1994) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as an attacking fullback with Premier League club Manchester City and for the Portugal national team.

After completing Benfica’s academy for youth, Canelo began playing for Benfica’s reserve side in 2012, before becoming a first-team player two years later. Then, he was loaned to La Liga club Valencia during the 2014–15 season before Los Ches made the move permanent over the summer. Canelo was borrowed from Serie A team Inter Milan in 2017-18, during which time he was named in Serie A’s Team of the Year.
